The cowl reaches 21 inches down the back, while the bottom hem falls approximately 41 inches, stopping just below the knee on the average height man. This coat is the perfect solution for achieving late 19th-century style. It is designed with an outer layer featuring five black velvet-covered buttons leading up to a matching collar, with velvet detailing on the front pockets. An interior pocket is also included for convenience. The attached cowl drapes around the shoulders and torso to deflect rain, adding extra protection.

Made from 100% wool with a 100% cotton lining (limited to torso and sleeves), this coat is imported and should be dry cleaned only. The generous sizing through the chest and shoulders is meant for wearing over a dress coat. If you plan on wearing it without a dress coat underneath, it is recommended to choose one size smaller than usual.
